Interactive Literacy
The brief
To create an inspiring, interactive resource for teaching whole literacy.
Our solution
An award-winning series of six fully interactive CD-ROMs for children aged 5-11, each with an accompanying 74-page teacher book. Interactive Literacy broke new ground by including dynamic activities for developing children’s skills in all aspects of literacy – reading, writing, speaking and listening.
The series delivers on key literacy objectives whilst refusing to allow children to get involved in dry, mechanical exercises. Instead, they build their own ‘virtual’ scenes and select characters for plays, create new twists on traditional tales, discuss issues that matter to them, read, share and create poetry and get inspired by original video footage and brilliant stills photography.
